Chillicothe Transit is providing free transportation to the County Fair on August 9th - 14th.  For full details click here.

Chillicothe Transit System (CTS) is Chillicothe’s public transportation provider. CTS provides the following transportation options: 
Fixed Route Bus Service serving the City of Chillicothe, Monday-Saturday, with limited service to Bainbridge, Frankfort, and Massieville, Monday-Friday.

On-Demand Paratransit Service is door-to-door transportation for eligible individuals with disabilities and anyone 65 or older within the city limits. 
RossGo is a subprogram of CTS, provides non-emergency medical transportation for Medicaid-eligible Ross County residents with trips to the following counties: Athens, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Gallia, Highland, Hocking, Jackson, Licking, Meigs, Perry, Pickaway, Pike, Scioto, Ross, and Vinton.

Vaccination Transportation - Free transportation to and from vaccination clinics will be available on-demand within the city limits. This service is free but does require scheduling in advance. Effective April 1, 2021, this service will be available Monday-Friday 6:00a - 2:00p.

Mask Requirements - Although the Ohio Health Orders pertaining to masks have been lifted, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requires the continued use of face masks for all transportation networks that are federally funded, including Chillicothe Transit System, through September 13, 2021.

Hours of Operation
CTS buses are currently running during the following hours and days:

Monday - Friday
ROUTE 1:
will be running every hour 6a-10p
ROUTE 2: will be running every hour 10:30a-5:30p
ROUTE 3: will be running every hour 6a-10p
ROUTE 3.5: will be running every hour 10:30a-5:30p
VA ROUTE:
will remain at reduced service with trips at 7:30a and 4p
COUNTY ROUTE-BAINBRIDGE:
will remain at reduced service with trips at 6a and 6p - Must be scheduled one (1) business day prior.
COUNTY ROUTE-FRANKFORT:
will remain at reduced service with trips at 8a and 4p - Must be scheduled one (1) business day prior.
COUNTY ROUTE-MASSIEVILLE:
will remain at reduced service with trips at 9:30a and 6p (combined with Bainbridge Route) - Must be scheduled one (1) business day prior.
Saturday
ROUTE 1:
will remain at reduced service with trips at 10a, 12p, 2p, and 4p
ROUTE 3:
will remain at reduced service with trips at 11a, 1p, 3p, and 5p
VA ROUTE:
will remain at reduced service with trips at 10:30a, 1:30p, and 3:30p
NO COUNTY ROUTES:
as usual on Saturdays

Saturday effective February 6, 2021
ROUTE 1:
will be running every hour 10a - 6p.
ROUTE 3:
will be running every hour 10a - 6p.
VA ROUTE:
will remain at reduced service with trips at 10:30a and 3:30p
NO COUNTY ROUTES:
as usual on Saturdays

Curb to curb paratransit service is available to anyone 65+ or with a disability. This service is FREE but does require pre-registration. Please call 740-773-1569, choose option #1 for more information and to register.
